What is Chicago Phil Chamber?
Chicago Phil Chamber, presented through the Chicago Park District’s “Night Out in the Parks” initiative, brings free chamber concerts to Chicago parks in local communities in Chicago’s South and West sides.

Chicago Philharmonic presents the ninth year of its signature community engagement program, Side by Side with the Chicago Philharmonic, presented with the Chicago Park District’s “Night Out in the Parks” initiative.
What is Side by Side?
Side by Side with the Chicago Philharmonic brings free symphonic concerts to Chicago parks in local communities in Chicago’s South and West sides. Students and community members of all ages and levels are encouraged to bring their instruments and rehearse and perform free concerts with Chicago Philharmonic musicians.
This season’s program explores crowd favorites including music from Star Wars, Spirited Away, and more!
The schedule for this event includes a free and open rehearsal from 3:00-5:00pm for anyone who wants to listen, culminating in a performance at 6:00pm.
