Get ready for a special World Premiere experience as Sleeping At Last, the mastermind behind soul-stirring melodies including “Saturn”, “Turning Page”, and “You Are Enough”, joins forces with the Chicago Philharmonic and Artistic Director & Principal Conductor, Scott Speck, for an immersive orchestral performance of the artists’ beloved songs reimagined with symphony orchestra.
Adding to the magic, Chicago Philharmonic’s Donna Milanovich Composer-in-Residence, Jonathan Bingham, will unveil an exciting new piece, promising to contribute to an unforgettable evening of musical innovation and artistry.

Tickets are general admission within 3 sections:
VIP TICKETS (closest to the stage, limited number available), BACK MAIN FLOOR, and BALCONY.
VIP ticket holders are also granted first access to merchandise and seating.
VIPs and Main Floor G/A will enter the concert hall through Level 1.
Balcony G/A can enter through Level 2 for Lower Balcony seating or through Level 3 for Upper Balcony seating.

Having shared the stage with notable artists such as Christina Perri, Switchfoot, Alanis Morissette, The Format, Something Corporate, Phantom Planet, and many others, Sleeping At Last is gearing up for a remarkable event. Mark your calendars for October 11 + 12, as Sleeping At Last joins forces with the Chicago Philharmonic for the grand world premiere of their acclaimed work, performed LIVE alongside Chicago’s Ferrari of Orchestras — Chicago Philharmonic.
ABOUT JONATHAN BINGHAM
Over the last decade, Jonathan Bingham has been recognized for his use of electronic and acoustic instrumentation. He’s composed music for film, advertisements, and has received commissions to write for numerous ensembles. Jonathan received the Vincent C. LaGuardia Award in composition leading to a residency with the Arapahoe Philharmonic in 2016. Over the following several years he premiered five orchestral works and obtained a subsequent residency with the Boulder Symphony. Through his collaborations with filmmakers, dancers, and painters, he has had work premiered internationally in concert halls, cinemas, galleries, and playhouses. Recent commissions include CIVIC for string orchestra for the Portland Youth Philharmonic and his Essay for Percussion for the consortium “Everybody Hits!” In addition, he has created original scores for over a dozen film productions which have premiered in festivals such as the New York Film Festival, Rome International Film Festival, and BFI London Film Festival among others. Recently, he has been invited to lecture on concert and film music at Fayetteville State University, the School of Visual Arts, and the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.
Holding degrees in composition from Howard University and New York University, Jonathan studied with Anthony Randolph and Justin Dello Joio respectively. His most recent project is Cool Story—a platform researching scores and producing recordings of lesser known music.
