Immediately following Chicago Philharmonic presents Kishi Bashi: Improvisations on EO9066 at the Harris Theater: meet the musicians and indie-pop-classical music star Kishi Bashi, and enjoy complimentary cocktails and bites!

**Please note: this event takes place immediately after the 7:30pm concert. Concert tickets are sold separately from after party tickets. All guests must be 21+ with a valid government issued ID that will be checked prior to entrance.
DJ Van Paugam
Van Paugam is a Chicago-based DJ specializing in Japanese music from the 70s & 80s dubbed City Pop. Having collected over 300 rare Japanese vintage vinyl records from his trips to Japan, Van has hosted over 100 live events dedicated to the style within Chicago and other cities including Brooklyn, Miami, Paris, Berlin, and Tokyo. He has been featured on CNN, NHK, and other global publications for his work in popularizing the genre in the West since 2016. Currently, He serves on the board of the Japanese Arts Foundation of Chicago where he consistently leverages the nostalgic elements of City Pop to evoke an appreciation for Japanese culture in new audiences worldwide.
