Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award®-winning film ENCANTO comes to life with the Chicago Philharmonic this summer! This smash-hit Disney film will be played on Ravinia’s big screens while being accompanied by Chicago’s most dynamic orchestra celebrating all the record-breaking hit songs from the beloved soundtrack.

ENCANTO’s infectious score was written by Germaine Franco, an American film composer, conductor, songwriter, arranger, record producer, and percussionist. Franco is the first woman to score a Disney animated feature film with Encanto, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe, an SCL Award, an Annie Award, and an Academy Award for Best Original Score.

Along with original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, an American songwriter, actor, singer, filmmaker, rapper, and playwright. He is known for creating the Broadway musicals Hamilton and In the Heights, and the soundtracks for the animated films Moana, Encanto, and Vivo.
