About the Performance:
Captivating audiences worldwide with her innovative flair, Lindsey Stirling is an American violinist, dancer, and songwriter whose genre-defying talents blend original music, hip-hop, pop, and classical sounds. She burst onto the scene in 2010 as a “hip-hop violinist” on season five of America’s Got Talent, mixing music and dance in a way that redefined performance art. Since then, her self-titled YouTube channel has become a sensation, with her 2012 video “Crystallize” amassing over 286 million views and cementing her status as a digital star.
Since then, Stirling has collaborated with a dazzling array of musical talent, including Pentatonix, Evanescence, and John Legend. Her sold-out international tours and electrifying live performances captivate diverse audiences worldwide.
Speaking to her unique approach, Stirling explains, “It is very unnatural to dance while playing the violin. I had to practice so hard to learn how to do it, but now it is part of my expression and it comes naturally. I have to know a song perfectly before I can even begin to move.
